Sterilisation Centre for Dogs & CatsLega Pro Animale is not a rehoming centre, as our main aim is to spay and neuter dogs and cats to reduce the stray population. However, we would like to introduce some animals that, for various reasons, have ended up in our care. These animals are looking for permanent loving homes. All animals at Lega Pro Animale are spayed and neutered, without exception. All of our dogs and cats are fully vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and tested for illnesses common in southern Italy and have come up negative unless otherwise stated. If you would like information on how you can adopt one of our animals, please contact us.
We also have some animals that are unable to be re-homed and are available for adoption from a distance. Why not adopt one of our rescued buffaloes, Emilio-Giovanni or Simone-Matteo? Poor Emilio was rescued after he was left to perish in a ditch when he was just a few days old. Or you could adopt Kevin, our oldest resident who was rescued as an injured stray...
In exchange, you will receive a picture of your adopted animal and a regular update of their progress. Please contact us for more information.
We welcome your questions and queries. Please see our Contact Us page for complete contact information.
