Lega Pro Animale is an Italian non-profit animal welfare organisation, established in 1986 by German veterinarian, Dorothea Friz.

What We Do

Lega Pro Animale's main objective is to sterilise the dogs and cats in southern Italy so the stray population will naturally diminish. To see us in action watch our YouTube video!

Spay Days for Stray Cats

Adopt a Stray Dog
If you find a stray dog in the street and decide to keep it and register it in your name, we will Microchip and sterilise the dog FREE of charge! Contact us for details.
